36 Hours in Da Lat Tourism

“36 hours in Da Lat tourism” is an article describing a detailed travel schedule in the city of thousands of flowers. It includes attractions, restaurants, amusement parks,… and all the most interesting activities in this destination. You may not be able to “follow” 100% of Fito’s schedule, but this is definitely a useful reference for your journey.

Da Lat city is the top tourist destination in Vietnam tourism. Stand out with majestic natural scenery and characteristic temperate climate. Besides, Da Lat used to be the ideal location of the French during the resistance. Thanks to this, there are many Western architectural works that are extremely unique and become a city tourist destination not to be missed. Above all, this city has always been a place of change for Vietnamese young people with the motto “Do not go to Da Lat for life without respect”.

First 12 hours (36 hours in Da Lat tourism)

1:00 pm – Visit King Palace I (Bao Dai King)

It had built between 1933 and 1938. This used to be the living and working place of King Bao Dai and Queen Nam Phuong during the time of defending Vietnam’s independence. French-Vietnamese architecture designs King Palace I. It is a combination of French classical architectural style and traditional Vietnamese cultural elements. Thanks to that, creating a unique architectural masterpiece, bearing the harmony between the two cultures.

The other notable feature of King Palace I is the rooftop. This is where a roof garden with artificial lake had built. Besides, the trees create a special natural space. To enjoy the fresh air and beautiful natural scenery of Da Lat. In addition, in the King Palace I, there are many galleries of special artworks. It contains the historical and cultural value of the country. It is also the place to store the valuable heritage of the Nguyen court.

With the above, surely Kinh Palace I must be on the list of 36 hours in Da Lat tourism.

3:00 – Dalat Railway Station & Dalat Pedagogical College & Chicken Church

All of these spots are on the list of 36 hours in Da Lat tourism because. (1) Unique architecture; (2) Special history; (3)Close together. Details are as follows:

  • Dalat Railway Station

Dalat Railway Station is one of the only stations in Vietnam with classical French architecture. They built it from 1932-1938. People consider Dalat Railway Station as one of the most beautiful stations in Southeast Asia, making it an ideal destination for architecture and history enthusiasts.

  • Grand Lycee Yersin

In 1956, they established Da Lat Pedagogical College. This is the oldest and most prestigious teacher training school in Da Lat. The school has a unique architecture with traditional Vietnamese culture. At the same time combined with the French classical architectural style. In addition, the school is the only place in Vietnam where Cham students study.

  • The Chicken Church:

The Chicken Church in Da Lat was built from 1931-1942. Along with unique architecture with European architectural style blended with traditional Vietnamese art elements. Builders constructed the Chicken Church on the top of the hill, providing a beautiful view of Dalat city. This is an ideal place for sightseeing and photography.

5:00 pm – Lam Vien Square & Xuan Huong Lake (36 hours in Da Lat tourism)

  • Lam Vien Square

Lam Vien Square is one of the largest squares in Southeast Asia. Area up to 72,000m2. It stands out for being equipped to grow many beautiful flowers. Especially hydrangeas (dahlia) and daffodils. This creates a romantic and romantic atmosphere. On top of that, when you come here you can participate in many recreational activities such as water games, cycling and flying kites.

  • Xuan Huong lake 5

Xuan Huong Lake is a large and most beautiful lake in Da Lat, created from rocky mountains on top of Langbiang. Surrounded by many green hills and extremely eye-catching decoration. Dalat Golf Cafe is one of the top places to enjoy drinks here. Locals know this place as a food and restaurant venue with elegant and stylish decorations. Certainly in the evening, enjoying a hot cup of coffee watching the city lights in the cold weather will be an unforgettable experience. The next 24 hours in Dalat tourism

8:00 am – Visit Mongo Land (36 hours in Da Lat tourism)

Famous in recent years. Mongo Land possesses a majestic natural setting with a large campus. The highlight here includes colorful Mongolian tent-style decorations and windmills

As a result, many young people come to enjoy check-in. In addition, this area also offers a variety of outdoor activities such as: Renting, horse riding, climbing, boating,… Surely this is one of the points to explore in the journey of 36 hours in Da Lat tourism.

10:30 am – Puppy Farm Puppy Farm

Dalat Puppy Farm is an area that specializes in breeding and introducing rare dog breeds. Highlights include: Samoyed; Husky; Poodle; Golden Retriever; Beagle; and a variety of other rare breeds. Moreover, they will instruct you on how to care for, raise, and train your dog.

If you are a hard fan of pets, this is definitely a destination not to be missed in the journey of 36 hours in Da Lat tourism.

00:30 pm – Dinner at Da Lat Restaurant

It is one of the restaurants with the taste of the local people here. Certainly the restaurant is one of the dining spots that bring many new flavors to you. In particular, it will be a very interesting experience with traditional family cuisine here.

2:00 pm – Tu Cau Flower Garden (New – 36 hours in Da Lat tourism)

Cam Tu Cau Dalat Flower Garden is an ideal destination for those who love nature and ornamental flowers. You can come here to enjoy the peaceful, poetic, photographic space. Especially walking in the garden to relax and learn about the natural beauty of Dalat. Above all, Cam Tu Cau garden has many beautiful and rich flowers such as: Wildflowers, daisies, roses, peach blossoms, lilies, lotus flowers, orchids… It is all arranged in a methodical way, creating a beautiful flower picture.

3:00 pm – Linh Phuoc Pagoda

The pagoda was built in 1949, but has been restored and upgraded many times. The pagoda was built in the Indochinese architectural style. Featured with many stone columns, brick walls and tile roofs. However, the special feature of the pagoda is the decorative ceramics created by talented artisans.

Above all, Linh Phuoc Da Lat pagoda has many unique ceramic works. Made of thousands of tiny pieces of ceramics, arranged and assembled to create Buddha statues, corridors, bell towers… What is special is that all these pieces of ceramics are handmade. From the hands of the talented artisans of Da Lat.

4:30 pm – Dalaland Coffee (36 hours in Da Lat tourism)

This is one of the most beautiful view cafes in Da Lat city. Surely this will be a great stopover in a long day of the 36-hour journey to Dalat. Enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the panoramic view of Da Lat with the view of Xuan Huong Lake.

6:00 pm – Join the Central Highlands gong culture tour at Langbiang

With this tour service, you will be transported by the company’s convoy to your destination. Up to Langbiang you will be participating and experiencing one of the world’s intangible heritage. It is the “Gong culture space of the Central Highlands”. Especially being rewarded with typical cuisine of the Central Highlands mountains – Vietnam. 9:00 pm – Walking around Da Lat market at night
